Part 2 Schedule

January 26, 27, 2006 -- The Ontario Provincial Police presented a two-day forum titled "Aboriginal Initiatives - Building Respectful Relationships."

March 8, 9, 2006 -- The Chiefs of Ontario, a coordinating body for 134 First Nation communities in the province, presented a two-day forum that dealt with issues that included land claims policy, the criminal justice system, aboriginal occupations and relations between aboriginals and the police.

The Inquiry invited the Ontario Provincial Police and the Chiefs of Ontario to organize these sessions. Their purpose was to hear each organization's unique, provincial perspective on Policy and Research issues.
