Ontario will be recognizing individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions in the field of victim services.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2012 Attorney General's Victim Services Awards of Distinction. The awards recognize the exemplary efforts of those who serve and support victims of crime and their families on a daily basis. The awards also honour individuals who have been personally impacted by crime, but have since worked to raise the profile of victims' issues in Ontario.

Nominations will be accepted until March 2, 2012.
