Supporting The Timmins Police Service

Helping Local Police Improve Community Safety

December 14, 2010

News

The Timmins Police Service is unveiling the newest addition to its fleet - a new command and logistics vehicle that will help officers fight crime and better respond to emergencies.

Ontario is supporting the local police to purchase a specialized vehicle to help police teams stay at a crime scene longer and better assist in the search for missing persons.

The Civil Remedies Grant program enables money to be taken out of the hands of wrongdoers and used to assist victims and police services to help keep Ontario families and communities safe.
