Ontario is building on its Open for Business strategy by introducing legislation later today that would, if passed, ensure more services are improved for the public and business.
The proposed Good Government Act, 2010 includes proposals to:
Additional items include a variety of general housekeeping measures, as well as some technical improvements and modernization measures.
The Good Government Act would increase transparency, enhance accountability and modernize provincial laws, regulations and systems to further advance the province's five-year Open Ontario plan to create new opportunities for jobs and growth.
