Attorney General Chris Bentley (centre) visits Cobourg Police Service Headquarters to announce a grant from Ontario's Civil Remedies for Illicit Activities program to fund a new interview room to give victims of crime increased privacy and help to ensure they are treated with respect and compassion. The plan also includes increasing accessibility, while preserving the historic nature of the building.
Joining Bentley are (from left to right) Cobourg Mayor Peter Delanty, Police Chief Paul Sweet, MPP Northumberland Lou Rinaldi, and Chair of the Cobourg Police Services Board Brian Baxter.
