Notice To Members Of The Legal Profession
OFFICE OF THE CHILDREN'S LAWYER, MINISTRY OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL
The Children’s Lawyer may add to her current panel (in effect until March 31, 2009) by selecting qualified lawyers to provide legal services on behalf of children through the Office of the Children’s Lawyer as vacancies arise, in the following areas of the law:
- Child Protection (Child & Family Services Act)
- Custody/Access (Divorce Act, Children’s Law Reform Act)
Candidates need to demonstrate an aptitude for representing children, experience in family law and must attend mandatory designated educational seminars.
If accepted, empanelment would continue until March 31, 2009.
Compensation is on a fee-for-service basis.
