The Legal Services Branch, Ministry of the Environment (LSB MOE) plays an important role in the Government of Ontario’s efforts to prevent pollution, restore and protect the environment, and enhance public health, environmental quality and economic vitality in Ontario by providing counsel and litigation services to the Ministry of the Environment. LSB MOE employs leading lawyers in the environmental bar and is the largest single entity of environmental lawyers in Canada.

LSB MOE is headquartered in Toronto, with several lawyers located within various regional offices throughout the province. It is comprised of 48 counsel, three articling students, three summer law students, two paralegals, and associated support staff.
